My name is Loyda Santiago-Velazquez. I was born on October 26, 1970 in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am married to John Velazquez for 32 years, we have two sons John and Eric Velazquez and we are already grandparents of 2 beautiful girls. I accepted the gospel of Christ when I was 15 years old in March of 1986 and I am still in it.
I graduated from college with a degree in accounting in 1995. I also studied theological studies of the church of God in 2010 and School of Ministers in 2011, I studied in two missionary Schools, Doulos Group Inc. in 2016 and The Bethany School of Missions 2022.
I have worked for the community of Kent and Sussex county in Delaware for over 20 years through social and community work , as director of programs serving the Latino community, children with disabilities, shelters for Women Victims of Domestic Violence and recovery House for women.
Since my youth I was taught to love evangelism and cross-cultural missions, together with my husband we have developed in local and cross-cultural evangelism, taking the gospel preaching in city squares and homes, invading communities, handing out tracts in malls, and events like Drive Thru Prayers, we have reached countries in the 10/40 window in South America, Africa and Asia, both supporting missionaries and their projects as well as on missionary exploration trips. Together we have planted the Restoration House Church of God in December 2011 which we will pastor until the present 2022.
